Why We Need Fresh Infrastructure Ideas After The Pandemic-ENR. The pandemic has pushed U.S. infrastructure finance into shaky territory by opening big holes in state and local budgets.

Worldwide Confirmed Coronavirus Cases Top 2 Million-New York Times. As bleak a milestone in the pandemic as the new figures are, unconfirmed cases are believed to be far higher. More than 130,000 people have died from COVID-19.

Arizona

COVID-19 in Arizona: State to provide antibody tests to first responders, add drive-thrus for public-KYMA News. Arizona soon will have access to two drive-thru testing centers and the capability to test first responders and health care workers for COVID-19 antibodies, Gov. Doug Ducey said at a press conference Tuesday.

New York

N.Y.C. Death Toll Soars Past 10,000 in Revised Virus Count-New York Times. The city has added more than 3,700 additional people who were presumed to have died of the coronavirus but had never tested positive.

Wisconsin Assembly overwhelmingly approves COVID-19 relief bill in state’s first virtual session-The Cap Times. The Wisconsin Assembly on Tuesday overwhelmingly approved a bill to help the state’s government, industries and health care workers better respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Construction industry hit hard, even as states deem it an ‘essential service’-Yahoo Finance. U.S. homebuilder sentiment in April dipped to its lowest level in over seven years. It was the steepest monthly decline in the 30-year history of the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index.

These Real Estate And Construction Industry Insiders Will Advise President Trump On Reopening The Economy-Bis Now. The White House announced the formation of Great American Economic Revival Industry Groups Tuesday night, made up of more than 200 people, largely corporate CEOs, who will give the president advice on when and how the federal government should reopen the economy.
