Kansas City Chapter – KCI Airport New Terminal Project Update
February 9, 2022 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am CST
At just over one million square feet and $1.5 billion, the Kansas City International Airport New Terminal Project is the largest single infrastructure project in the City’s history. Completion is scheduled for early 2023 with 39 gates, a 6,100-space parking structure, and landside and airside civil improvements. The New Terminal will support more efficient airline operations while allowing passengers the opportunity to enjoy modern air travel in a facility with updated technology, inclusive amenities, close parking, spacious gate areas, and ample local food and beverage options.
A leader in the development, financing, and operations of public buildings, infrastructure, and commercial real estate, Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate has delivered or has under construction approximately $4 billion of public-private partnerships nationally. CLark | Weitz | Clarkson (CWC) is a joint venture of Clark Construction Group, The Weitz Company, and local heavy civil contractor, Clarkson Construction Company. CWC is a member of the greater Edgemoor Team and responsible for leading the design-build efforts on the KCI New Terminal Project. Combined, the team boasts more than 400 years of construction experience.
