Join DBIA-WPR Owners’ Council for Session #4 of the webinar series, which foundation is built from the DBIA Manual of Practice. The theme is “Owner to Owner Perspective and Lessons Learned.” A highly experienced owner, practitioner, or academic will present the 6 topics. June’s webinar will be presented by Michael Moore and Brenda Medina of the City of Anaheim. Owner’s that typically utilize a design-bid-build delivery method are used to extensive bid documents before procurement. As these Owner’s transition to design-build delivery methods, it can be difficult for them to let go of developing and prescribing the design in the procurement process. Furthermore bridging documents and prescriptive specifications can shift liability and risk to the owner. This webinar will discuss how to change the culture of the Owner team and how to select the right Owner Advisor.
