This is session #6 for the 2019 Owners Council Webinar Series. The series foundation is built from the Design-Build Institute of America’s Manual of Practice. This year’s theme is “Design-Build Done Right.” A highly experienced Practitioner will present each of the 9 topics. July’s 40-minute presentation titled “Lean – How to Maximize your Design-Build Project” will be hosted by David Umstot. David Umstot brings a 360-degree perspective to capital project delivery experience with more than 30 years of experience. He is the lead author of Lean Project Delivery | Building Championship Project Teams and has worked with teams delivering more than $6.5B in projects using Lean over the past 5 years. David is a past public owner in California, a current associate faculty member at San Diego State University and a past President of the Western Pacific Region.
