Join DBIA-WPR San Diego Chapter for a lively discussion with a Design-Build BIM Specialist, Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Specialist, Contractor, and Subcontractor as they share how the Design-Build delivery method maximizes the power of BIM. We will discuss the history, trends, and evolution of BIM in Design-Build as well as expose the similarities and differences between Site BIM and Building BIM. The panel will share strategies, best practices and lessons learned to address questions such as: Who is best to take the Site BIM lead and why is it not the same for all projects? Who benefits the most and who should pay for BIM. What are good examples of “going slow to go fast”, and what does that actually mean? As well as how BIM in Design-Build generates a Return on Investment (ROI) that is more than just financial.
