Challenge Design-Build Project Delivery Addressed
The owner chose the design-build/Novation delivery method for the DAYTONA Rising project. In this case, ROSSETTI was initially contracted to the client but was then “novated” to Barton Malow. The primary reason that the owner chose this method was to develop transparency, continuous vested collaboration and the elimination of risk.
Summary
DAYTONA Rising now represents the “World Center for Racing” as the first motorsports stadium in the world, providing the ultimate fan experience. Stretching over one mile in length, with 101,500 wider and more comfortable seats, it also included 60 suites, 520 club seats and 2.5 million square feet of space. Barton Malow + ROSSETTI’s integration was evident in design, project set-up and construction. Determination. Motivation. Innovation. That is how the greatest projects in history are made.
