With Challenges Come Opportunities
America’s Design-Build Teams Will Help Rebuild Our Economy
This year’s virtual Design-Build for Water/Wastewater and Transportation/Aviation Conferences are coming at a critical time for design-build teams. For many months, we have faced unprecedented challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Design-build teams have played a vital role in helping our communities by providing alternative medical facilities and the most cost and schedule-efficient projects at a time when federal, state, and local budgets were stretched to the limit. As design-builders, we also have experience in delivering shovel-ready projects to jump-start the economy. We did it in 2009 with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and stand ready to respond again today. But is the Water/Wastewater sector prepared for what 2021 holds?
Given all we’ve faced over the past year, we know you’re now ready to seize the opportunity to come back even stronger in 2021. The possibility for new infrastructure investment, used as a tool to fuel economic recovery, provides design-build teams the chance to — once again — make our mark on communities nationwide.
DBIA’s priority for this event has been to build a program that provides meaningful and high-value tools, resources, and strategies your teams can implement immediately on your projects. We know your time is valuable, and there’s not a minute to waste as we gear up for this historic opportunity to rebuild our economy.
While we’d rather meet in person, we’re committed to providing the same quality design-build education in this virtual event you’ve come to expect from DBIA. One advantage of this virtual environment is that you won’t have to pick and choose which session to attend because you’ll have access to every conference session for a full month. We know that well-trained Design-Build Done Right® teams will fuel our recovery, and we’re here to help make it happen.
We are in it for your success and hope you’ll join us in April.
