Challenge Design-Build Project Delivery Addressed

The owner recognized design-build was the best delivery method to complete the parking garage in the limited time frame and budget allocated. Within Beck’s integrated organizational structure, our architects and contractors worked side-by-side to deliver both world-class design and building expertise.

Summary

Beck served as the designer and builder for the 343,400-square-foot Frog Alley Parking Garage at Texas Christian University (TCU). Beck’s architects and contractors worked side-by-side to deliver both world-class design and building expertise for this “unexpected gem” on the TCU campus. The design aligns with the Fort Worth Deco aesthetic of the nearby athletic venues. It was completed on time within nine months, during North Texas’ wettest year on record, and under budget.
