William G. Kent, FDBIA, LEED AP (Certification Board)

Bill Kent started his career with Mortenson in 1987 and he currently serves as a Construction Executive with Mortenson’s operations in the Pacific Northwest. During his tenure with Mortenson, Mr. Kent has served in the roles of estimator, field engineer, project manager, and senior project manager on a variety of projects including education, justice and corrections, corporate, and civic, all of which were delivered utilizing some form of integrated delivery. Mr. Kent is currently serving as Immediate Past President of the NW region. Mr. Kent received his DBIA Certification in 2004 and he has been teaching the Fundamentals, Principles, and Post Award certification classes as a DBIA instructor since 2008. As an adjunct instructor for the University of Washington’s School of the Built Environment, Mr. Kent also teaches an upper level class on integrated design-build project management.
