Dave Hill, DBIA (Board of Directors)

Dave Hill, DBIA, is a national executive leader in the water and wastewater, transportation and heavy civil infrastructure construction industry. He is a recognized advocate of design-build delivery methods for both public and private entities and has more than 28 years of combined experience in construction and design, manufacturing, operations, design-build delivery and client services.

As the Senior Director of Business Development for Ferguson Waterworks Strategic Businesses, Dave leads a national focus with a heightened intentionality to be a positive disruption to the industry by enhancing collaboration, early engagement, elevating trust and leveraging Design-Build Done Right® best practice to increase the certainty of outcomes for projects.

Over the past decade, Dave has served on multiple DBIA committees. He currently serves as a DBIA certified instructor and is Chair of the Water/Wastewater Markets Subcommittee on Best Practices.

Dave is known for his hands-on experience, straight forward integrity, strong communication skills and forward thinking to drive innovation and change in the industry. In fact, some of the very first water and wastewater collaborative delivery projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region were successfully performed under Dave’s leadership.
