Rick del Monte, DBIA, FAIA, LEED AP (Board of Directors)

Rick del Monte is a Principal with R&B Architecture, a design and consulting practice. He was a former Managing Director and Chief Design Officer for The Beck Group, a large integrated design-build firm. As such, he has a keen awareness of both the design and construction aspects of integrated design and construction. Mr. del Monte has also been very active in the AIA promoting an integrated approach and has served as the past Chair of the AIA’s Project Delivery Knowledge Community (PDKC). Mr. Del Monte understands the integration challenges facing the architectural community working as a cohesive team and brings that insight to the DBIA National Board of Directors.

Mr. del Monte has been active on the DBIA Design Excellence Committee, understands and advocates for the need for design excellence in project success. His experience in leading a design firm and later leading the design side of an integrated design-build firm, make him a tremendous asset to the DBIA Board of Directors.
