Robert R. Smedley, AIA, DBIA is the Design-Build Manager for Buildings at RS&H. Rob has more than 35 years of experience working on diverse projects for both public and private clients. As Design-Build Manager for the RS&H he is responsible for working with Project Delivery Teams to implement Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) best practices and techniques – enhancing the opportunity for collaboration, teamwork and likelihood of project success for all project stakeholders.
Rob has enjoyed coaching and mentoring hundreds of young professionals throughout his career and approaches the experience as one mutual learning and discovery. His professional demeanor is relationship driven resulting in an exceptional network of professional peers and friendships to be shared with others.
An active member of DBIA, Rob currently serves on the Membership and Region Development Committee which he has past Chaired in addition to the Membership Committee for the Florida Region. Rob resides in Ormond Beach, FL where he enjoys the year-round weather to pursue his passion of Triathlon.
