As any good design-builder knows, building solid relationships is vital to a team’s success. Here at DBIA, our Director of Membership Development, Sal Chairez, says meaningful member relationships are what build the foundation of any successful association. Sal comes to DBIA with many years of association experience including; the American Health Lawyers Association, Navy League of the United States, American College of Nurse-Midwives, and NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Sal is an unabashed nerd who loves analyzing trends and proof through analytics that help us keep on top of our members’ needs.
Sal’s a fan of music done well, be it classical or hard rock. When (if) he has any free time, Sal enjoys hiking and camping with his wife and daughters, playing his guitar, and refurbishing antique furniture. Sal also teaches ESL and serves as a translator on his church’s engagement team in Guatemala.
