Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced the reappointment of Denise Ramsey, PE, LEED AP BD+C, DBIA, along with others, to the Board of Professional Engineers. Ramsey, current DBIA Board Certification member, serves as Vice President and Chief Engineer for Haskell Architects & Engineers.
NYC Mayor Eric Adams released a report showing significant progress in reforming how public infrastructure is constructed across the five boroughs and celebrated Gov. University of Arizona’s Cardinal Design-Build team was named the winner of DBIA’s 2024 National Design-Build Student Competition at the Design-Build Conference & Expo in Dallas, Texas. The all-female team from the school made history with their win, highlighting the growing role of women in the AEC industry.
