DBIA is saddened to share that our long-time colleague and friend, Todd Rich, Customer Resources and Outreach Manager, has passed away.
Todd joined DBIA in 1997, just a few years after our founding, and spent more than 27 years as a dedicated member of the DBIA staff.
During her tenure, she contributed to many areas of DBIA’s operations — supporting members, managing contract document resources and playing a key role in DBIA’s outreach efforts over the years. From the early issues of Integration Quarterly to the weekly Design-Build Insight e-newsletter, Todd’s work touched many corners of the organization.
“Todd’s love for DBIA was evident the first time I met her 21 years ago,” reflected Lisa Washington, DBIA’s Executive Director and CEO. “Her institutional knowledge was invaluable, and her willingness to adjust and adapt as DBIA evolved over the years further validated her commitment to the organization. Todd was part of our DBIA ‘family’ and she will be sorely missed.”
She was a steady presence, always behind the scenes, making sure things got done and eliciting chuckles from the staff with her distinct sense of style and humor.
Outside of work, Todd loved reading, cross-stitch and beadwork — creative pursuits that reflected her attention to detail and quiet thoughtfulness.
She will be missed.
