Nick Byers, AIA, Assoc. DBIA
Nick Byers incorporates strong design skills and technical expertise in building envelopes into his portfolio of academic and commercial projects at Hennebery Eddy Architects in Portland, Oregon. His recent projects include the Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship at Montana State University, which achieved LEED Gold certification and a Montana AIA design award and a new health professions training center at Rogue Community College. He has been an active Young Professional member of the Design-Build Institute of America since 2017, serving as the Northwest Regional programs committee co-chair, promotions committee co-chair, and board member for the Oregon Chapter.
Steve Achram, PE, DBIA
Steve Achram is Director of Sales at Wolverine Building Group and has 17 years of experience in the design and construction industry. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Michigan Tech University and a MBA from Northwood University. He specializes in developing projects in many market sectors from the conceptual stage to reality.
Carol Rhodes, PE, DBIA
Carol Rhodes has 25 years of experience working as the owner, prime contractor and designer for major transit, transportation and facility projects. Her experience includes managing projects that spans all project phases from conceptual design through start of operations. Carol is well-versed in project and construction management, policies and procedures, and project controls with a proven record building collaborate teams to deliver projects.
Pradip Mehta, DBIA, PMP, CCP, PSP, RMP
Pradip Mehta is an internationally-recognized expert in implementing Project Management and Controls best practices for different project delivery models including design-build delivery model for large Engineering and Construction organizations. He served as the past President of the PMI College of Scheduling and has presented more than 30 publications at different professional venues. He was inducted as a “Guild Fellow in Project Controls” in the Planning Planet Global Society in 2015.
Glen Smith, DBIA
Glen Smith is a 24-year veteran construction professional. After a successful career in traditional delivery methods, such as Design-Bid-Build, Glen is moving into an exciting new chapter in his career developing and implementing Design-Build and Progressive Design-Build Projects. Before excelling in his Project Management role, Glen came up through the Carpentry trades, learning the “how to” of his industry that would serve him well in his management career.
