Ahmed Al-Bayati, PhD, PE, Assoc. DBIA
Dr. Ahmed Al-Bayati is an assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering at Lawrence Technological University. Before joining LTU, Dr. Al-Bayati was an assistant professor in the Kimmel School of Construction Management at Western Carolina University. He earned his Ph.D. in Construction Engineering from Western Michigan University in 2017. He actively conducts research in the field of construction engineering and management.
David Nardon, DBIA
David’s 43-year career brings a wealth of experience in the heavy civil construction industry. David is the Director of Alternative Delivery for Superior Construction Company Southeast, headquartered in Jacksonville FL. He is responsible for all Design-Build Alternate Delivery pursuits and Business Development. Since 2003, David has managed over $16B in design-build, PPP, and JV pursuits.
Doreen Bartoldus, P.E., CCM, ENV SP, Assoc. DBIA
Ms. Bartoldus has over 40 years of professional experience as a civil/environmental engineer and construction manager. She is a registered Professional Engineer in New York, a Certified Construction Manager, a Design-Build Associate, and an Envision Sustainability Professional. Ms. Bartoldus has also been an adjunct Professor at Stevens Institute, teaching Project Controls to CM Masters students.
Yadu Banjara, PMP, DBIA
Yadu Banjara is a Sr. Project Manager with over 20 years of professional work experience in Water/Energy/Power sector. Yadu has gained experience working at both sales and execution side of the business, as a Proposal Manager and also as a Project Manager. Yadu earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), and holds Project Management Professional and Designated Design-Build Professional certifications.
Max Iskra , DBIA
Max Iskra is an Assistant Project Manager at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., Southern California Region who has been instrumental on various signature McCarthy projects such as the Performing Arts Center at Chapman University and Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center for the County of Los Angeles. Max’s professional experience is fueled by his Design-Build knowledge which he is currently utilizing on the Skechers World Headquarters project in Manhattan Beach.
John Mentzer, Assoc. DBIA
John Mentzer began his career 35+ years ago and has managed over $650M of ground-up Healthcare construction projects in Tennessee, Michigan, Florida, & Massachusetts. In 2006, John became a Partner and the Executive Vice President at ETC, which has become an industry leader in California healthcare construction. ETC has been successfully completing healthcare construction projects since 2002 for some of the largest care providers in the state.
