As Design-Build Grows, So Does Our Commitment to Transform the Industry
The Design-Build Institute of America is excited to announce the hiring of two new positions to ensure DBIA remains at the forefront of a rapidly changing industry, including continually advancing methods to optimize the value of Design-Build Done Right®.
Brian Skripac, CM-BIM, DBIA, CDT, LEED AP BD+C, has been hired as Director of Virtual Design and Construction, where he will focus on tools and best practices for integrating design-build processes and technology. Brian is a BIM/VDC/Digital Strategies innovator with more than 15 years of leadership defining how people, processes and technology come together to transform collaborative project delivery. Starting October 4, he will lead the development of strategies to leverage design-build’s “whole team” approach with a highly integrated approach to BIM/VDC implementation to generate significant benefits for projects and all stakeholders in the process.
Bailey Kasten, CAE, serves as DBIA’s new Chief Data Officer. This senior-level position will play a key role in using data and predictive analytics to analyze and intuit the needs of DBIA members and customers. Bailey will lead the development of actionable business insights to increase the organization’s effectiveness and efficiency, expanding our reach and expanding design-build’s impact. Bailey is a multi-faceted association leader with nearly 15 years of experience in operations and strategy development.
