The DBIA Fellow Program is administered by the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA). This program is governed by the Design-Build Certification Board (DBCB) and recognizes the achievements of our most accomplished Designated Design-Build Professionals. Elevation to Fellow status celebrates individual career achievements and promote DBIA principles through a DBIA College of Fellows.
Nominations close on June 30th. Nominations received after that date will be considered the following year.
As a nominee, you have met the following eligibility criteria:

Please include a color headshot of yourself. Photos must be at least 300 dpi in resolution.
All applications will be thoroughly considered by an Application Review Committee which is responsible for the review and approval of all DBIA Fellow applications.
The application will be initially reviewed to ensure that all documents have been received, at which time the application and accompanying documents will be scheduled for review in July of each cycle. Advancement to the Fellow designation requires unanimous assent of all the application review members. All applicants who are approved for advancement to Fellow designation will be notified by late August.
Any applicants who are not approved for advancement to the DBIA Fellows subsequent to review will receive an explanation from the Committee, and the applicant will have the opportunity to submit additional documentation for consideration the following year. Any DBIA Fellows applicant who is not unanimously approved may follow the approved appeals procedures as described in the DBIA Rules of Policy and Procedure.

If granted the endorsed Fellows, I understand that this certification is subject to the rules and guidelines, including adherence to the DBIA Code of Professional Conduct and renewal of the certification program, and can be revoked by decision of the Design-Build Certification Board. If granted the certification, I further accept license of the proper use of the acronym F-DBIA™ or F-Assoc. DBIA™ after my name and/or professional certification.
