United States Courthouse – Huntsville, AL

The new U.S. Courthouse in Huntsville is a 123,000 sq ft facility, which is neoclassical in style and organized using the classic ionic order, in keeping with other recent Federal Courthouses in the State of Alabama. It houses two District courtrooms, one Magistrate courtroom, one Special Proceedings courtroom, and one Bankruptcy courtroom, Judges’ chambers, U.S. Marshals Service spaces, congressional office space, and U.S. District Court spaces.

Design Build Non-Kinetic Operations (NKO) Facility and Defense Courier Station (DCS), Offutt AFB, NE

Owner: USACE Omaha

IMEG supported the design of a new 100,000-GSF Ambulatory Care Center and Dental Clinic at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, as part of a $222.7M NAVFAC Southeast design-build project awarded to DPR-RQ Construction. The facility includes outpatient clinics, surgical suites, a central utility plant, ambulance garage, and helipad with backup power. Designed to UFC and AT/FP standards, the project includes utility and communications infrastructure, site improvements, and environmental protections. Completion is scheduled for 2029.

Design & Construction of Dunseith Land Port of Entry

McGough Construction was awarded a $94 million Design-Build contract by the GSA to modernize the Dunseith Land Port of Entry in North Dakota. This GSA Design Excellence project includes new inspection buildings, canopies, and inspection lanes to support Customs and Border Protection and USDA operations. Designed to meet GSA’s energy efficiency goals, the facility will feature energy-efficient systems and geothermal heating and cooling—enhancing security, processing capacity, sustainability, and safety for employees and travelers.

Army Hospital in the West Coast

SAFTI FIRST® supplied a custom-engineered, fire resistive, blast rated GPX Blast Curtain Wall System for the Army Hospital in the West Coast. Meeting stringent DoD antiterrorism standards, the system delivered 2-hour fire resistance, blast load compliance, and complex 45-foot spans. SAFTI FIRST®’s team managed fabrication, security clearances, and on-time delivery, ensuring a high-performance, aesthetically integrated solution that enhanced safety and resilience for this critical military medical facility.

To help expand care for veterans across Utah, Serenity provided 89 sliding door systems across the 30,000-square-foot South Jordan VA Clinic. Designed specifically for healthcare, these systems support a quiet and efficient environment for both patients and staff.

Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH) Soil Improvements Program

Owner: NAVFAC 

UES was retained by NAVFAC to produce an existing 3D utility model of portions of the Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH) facility for future soil improvements planned for the base. The investigation included mapping over 12 linear miles of utilities through congested and concentrated areas to provide a better understanding of where existing utilities exist. The investigation model followed general accordance to ASCE 38-22 and utilized geophysical techniques including MCGPR, RF, TDEM, and FDEM
