FELLOWSHIP REQUIREMENTS
- 10 years continuously holding DBIA certification; and
- 10 years of continuous membership in DBIA; and
- 10 years responsible charge of design-build experience gained while DBIA-certified; and
- nomination by an individual in an approved DBIA leadership position.

HOW TO BECOME A DBIA FELLOW
Once a year, DBIA solicits a call for nominations for Fellow candidates. The period for accepting candidates is currently closed.
- Step 1: A Fellows Nomination is submitted by a design-build industry leader peer with ample time to allow approved nominees to complete their full nomination package by the final early summer deadline. (Spring nomination)
- Step 2: DBIA delivers Fellows Applications to qualified candidates
- Step 3: Candidates complete the Fellows Application ($300 application fee) (Early Summer application)
- Step 4: Candidates chosen as DBIA Fellows will be honored at DBIA’s National Conference & Expo (Fall designation)
