Summary: The Infrastructure Development Investment Program Act creates a new financing program to provide loans and financial assistance for transportation infrastructure projects.

Design-Build Impact: Contracting agencies will be eligible to prepare requests for either design-build or progressive design-build contracts if they wish to seek out financial assistance from NDOT for transportation infrastructure projects. This can clear the way for more effective and effectively funded design-build and progressive design-build transportation projects within the state.
