Barbara Jackson is well-known for many things in the design-build community as a former practitioner, educator, and author. Author of Design-Build Essentials and Construction Management Jumpstart, Jackson is also known for promoting the importance of making the mental shift in design-build, developing the first DB University curriculum, and creating the first DBIA Educator Workshop in 2004.
