Brian Aske, FDBIA, is a DBIA Fellow and President at SAK Builders, Inc. in Washington state, exclusively focused on Progressive Design-Build (PDB). He has served on the DBIA Northwest Region Board for over 14 years and advanced Washington state’s current PDB legislation. He guest lectures and instructs industry classes on all forms of design-build, particularly PDB in Washington. Mr. Aske is the lecture committee chair for DBIA’s College of Fellows. He has been an advocate for design-build for 30 years. Over the last seven years, he has led multiple PDB projects for multiple institutions, including the DBIA 2021 Project of the Year and Best in Architecture Project/Team Awards as well DBIA’s 2023 Best in Teaming Award.
