Christine Mizioch has 30+ years in the transportation industry, with 20 of those years at MassDOT Highway. She was actively involved in the legislation to utilize Design-Build in Massachusetts in 1998, and went on to oversee the state’s first horizontal Design-Build project. From there, she created the MassDOT DB Program, where she oversaw the first heavy-lift project in the state.
She is currently a Vice President at AI Engineers, Inc., an MBE firm, responsible for their Boston office. She is active in multiple DE&I initiatives and serves as Chair of the DE&I Subcommittee at the University of Massachusetts/Lowell, and is a member of the ACEC-MA DE&I Task Force, helping to further education and connect minority firms within the industry. Christine also serves as a Mentor for the WTS-Boston Chapter.
Christine serves on the DBIA-NE Board. Since joining the board, she has been instrumental in connecting the organization to the agencies in Massachusetts who are key stakeholders and are expanding their use of alternative delivery. She is a member of a small Work Stream group with MassDOT Highway. She is also part of a group leading AI Engineers’ own DEI&B Group.
