Seema Javeri brings 30 years of experience in public-sector transportation, including leadership roles at FHWA, the Federal Railroad Administration and state DOTs in Florida and Washington. As FHWA’s Major Projects Team Lead, she oversees policy and oversight for the nation’s highest-risk and most complex transportation projects. Throughout her career, she has led and delivered successful design-build projects across multiple agencies.

Previously, Seema led FRA’s national engineering team, providing oversight of multimodal rail projects exceeding $100 billion in value. She holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Florida and dual master’s degrees in transportation engineering and engineering management from the University of Central Florida. A longtime ASCE leader, she has received nine awards recognizing her contributions to major state and federal infrastructure programs.
