During the project duration, the team experienced code changes as well as conflicts with existing as-built conditions. They were able to provide acceptable solutions to the owner and to complete the project with minor impact to cost.

Summary

The DBH Crisis Residential Treatment Facility consisted of the design and construction of an approximately 11,000-square-foot Crisis Residential Treatment Facility, parking space, landscaping and an outdoor courtyard. The project includes architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, interior finishes, security systems and other related activities. The facility includes 16 beds, eight offices, one kitchen, common area, conference room, break room, five medical offices and utility rooms. The facility specializes in providing crisis intervention for individuals diagnosed with mental health and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.
