Section 7: Region Grant Request (Optional)

DBIA Regions may request a grant from National to support initiatives that will provide a meaningful return for DBIA at all levels. Grant requests must align with DBIA’s strategic goals and have the potential to deliver measurable results. Please answer the following questions related to your grant request. You will be notified of National’s decision no later than January 30, 2025.

Grant request amount:

Who will benefit directly from the program (e.g., members, potential members, local communities, etc.)?

3. How does the program and/or initiative align with DBIA’s strategic priorities?

What specific, measurable outcomes or metrics will be used to track the success of the funded program and what is the expected timeline for achieving these outcomes?

5. What is the projected return on investment (ROI)?

How will the program contribute to the Region’s financial sustainability or growth (e.g., new members, increased revenue, fundraising opportunities)?

• Non-financial ROI:

What are the broader, non-financial benefits to the Region, such as increased member engagement, expanded outreach, or enhanced community presence?

6. How will the Region ensure the sustainability of the program/initiative in future years (if applicable)?

7. How will the funds be managed?

What is the total budget for the project, and how will the grant funds be allocated across different activities or line items (e.g., staff, materials, meeting space, etc.)?

Upon grant approval, Regions will be asked to report (in writing) on the progress of the funded initiative in March, August and November (aligning with DBIA National Board meetings), including a final evaluation of the success of the program.
