Building Industry Leaders

DBIA is committed to providing young leaders insights today to help them build a better tomorrow.

DBIA’s Young Professional membership is for individuals who are 35 years of age or younger. They may be Owners, practitioners, consultants/Owner Advisors, academic faculty, etc.

Membership for young professionals is $75 annually. 

If you work for a DBIA Industry Partner, you could also qualify for one of their two free YP memberships. Contact membership@dbia.org for more information.

DBIA Mentoring Program – Make Connections That Build Careers

The DBIA Mentoring Program cultivates time-honored, meaningful mentorship opportunities for members of DBIA — both Owners and industry practitioners. Through engagement with experienced DBIA certified professionals, the mentoring relationship will provide valuable support and guidance to mentees as they navigate their careers, explore new career paths, and consider unique design-build opportunities in various career fields, market sectors and/or regions.

One of the best ways for design-build young professionals to build their network is to engage with peers at the local level. DBIA’s 14 Regions (with nearly 50 local Chapters) span every part of the nation, organizing educational and social events for their design-build communities.
