Whether Your First Rodeo or Fifth, Submit a Presentation for the Annual Conference in Dallas

Everything is bigger at the DBIA Design-Build Conference & Expo, especially this November when we head to Dallas, Texas. And we’re looking for your Texas-sized contributions –– or, well, your cutting-edge design-build ideas to include in our conference programming.

Don’t worry. Your topic doesn’t have to be Longhorn-themed, but it can’t be all hat, no cattle. If you’re a seasoned presenter and a subject matter expert deep in the heart of design-build, we’d like to hear from you. From lessons learned on projects of all sizes to tips for optimizing Design-Build Done Right® for triple bottom line success, relevant topic proposals from across the design-build landscape are welcome.

We are also seeking subject matter experts to help build the content for our half-day preconference Virtual Design & Construction Leadership Exchange (VDCLEx) on Nov. 5. The VDCLEx will feature two specialized tracks: one for experienced VDC professionals and one for non-VDC professionals. The VDCLEx will continue to explore how VDC is impacting designers, builders and Owners by enhancing design excellence, increasing quality and productivity, as well as improving lifecycle costs.

Thousands of industry professionals spanning the architecture, engineering and construction communities attend our conference each year. This is an opportunity for you to contribute to the research, knowledge and success that has made design-build the fastest-growing project delivery method. This is your chance to demonstrate why we don’t mess with Design-Build Done Right®.

Okay. Enough with the (bad) Texas puns. Take a look at our guidelines for the Design-Build Conference & Expo and VDCLEx and consider submitting a session presentation today. The deadline for submissions is April 19, 2024.

The Design-Build Conference & Expo is Nov. 6-8, 2024, at the Hilton Anatole, Dallas, Texas.
