Design-Build for Water/Wastewater Conference

NEW Water/Wastewater Tracks at the Design-Build Conference & Expo

Event Update

News for Water/Wastewater Conference Attendees

DBIA is excited to announce that we will expand our annual conference scheduled on October 28-30 in National Harbor, Maryland (DC Metro area) to include education and networking opportunities specifically for the water/wastewater sector.

While this is not intended as a replacement for the full sector-specific conferences, it is an opportunity for leaders in these sectors to reconnect after months of uncertainty and canceled industry events.

Paul Webster, P.E., Senior Engineer, Town of Cary, N.C.

“As someone new to design-build, the Design-Build for Water /Wastewater Conference was a great forum for me to learn the basics of how design-build works in all categories of delivery types, and also provided me a means to network with professionals of the highest level expertise. I came away from the conference with more confidence on how to tackle a design-build project.”

Brent Christ, DBIA, Supervisor Construction, DC Water

“I’ve been going to the DBIA Water/Wastewater Conference as an owner for 8 years, and every time I come I gain useful information. The reinforcement of best practices is always helpful and the opportunity to learn something new presents itself every time I attend.”

Ahmad Awan, Project Engineer, Canadian Nuclear Laboratories

“The DBIA conference was very rewarding for me professionally. I brought back new and novel ideas moving forward. I can’t wait to join you next year.”
