This webinar will be the 7th of 9 to be presented in 2018. The series is built from the Design-Build Institute of America’s “Manual of Practice” (MOP). A highly experienced practitioner will present each of the 9 topics. This will be a 40 min presentation of the given subject using the MOP as the foundational platform. Design-build project delivery provides maximum benefits to owners when there is early input from the design-builder. Selecting the design-builder on qualifications and negotiating a contract has the advantages for the owner by having them as a strategic partner from the outset of the project. This contrasts from “competitive” selection processes. This presentation will describe the selection process and keys to a successful negotiated source selection.
