The demands for infrastructure projects continue to increase across the DFW metroplex in one of the biggest building booms the State has seen in decades. With the increasing demands for new facilities, upgrades to old facilities, expanded universities and transportation options comes an increase in demand for water, utility and other services. Cost, schedule and optimization of delivered solutions continues to be a focus of many owners, which are but just some of the many reasons owners are turning toward a more collaborative delivery approach such as IPD, P3, design-build and CMAR. The need for collaborative delivery transcends multiple market segments and the DFW Chapter of DBIA-Southwest addresses these through the eyes of the Owners that are responsible for providing utility, transportation and social infrastructure projects to the growing DFW area.
