About the Presentation:
How does Design-Build compare statistically with Construction Management and Traditional Design-Bid-Build? More specifically, is Design-Build faster and more cost-effective than Construction Management and Traditional Design-Bid-Build? The Design-Build Institute of America’s mission is to be the industry’s preeminent resource for leadership, education, objective expertise and best practices for the successful integrated delivery of capital projects. In this short course we will cover the Best Practices of Design-Build as told by the numbers.
We will explore the statistics of Design-Build:
- Dive deep and go behind the numbers to explore unit cost, cost growth and schedule growth;
- Identify the best and worst performers;
- Explore the growth of Design-Build; and
- Benefits associated with each delivery method.
- Finally, we will leave plenty of time for your questions and hopefully provide some answers!
