Scott Churilla is Vice President, National Practice Leader, Owner Advisor Programs at CDM Smith. He was previously Director of Strategic Clients, Infrastructure & Transportation, for The Haskell Company.

Prior to joining HDR in April of 2005, Mr. Churilla worked for Kiewit Corporation for more than seven years, where his primary responsibilities included serving as an officer and corporate counsel to a Boston-based specialty contractor subsidiary with operations nationwide. He also supported Kiewit’s Texas-based heavy civil operating division. Before working with Kiewit, Mr. Churilla was general counsel to a Mid-Atlantic heavy construction and coal mining and reclamation company for three years, a position that he accepted after nearly seven years of private law practice.

Mr. Churilla has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Alfred University, Alfred, N.Y. (1984) and he attained his Juris Doctorate from the West Virginia University College of Law, Morgantown (1988). He also studied Liberal Arts at the Institut for Europaische Studien, Vienna, Austria (1982-83).
