Nearly 500 government and industry leaders gathered in Washington, D.C. in late August to discuss, teach and learn best practices in federal project delivery. Hosted by the Design-Build Institute of America and the Society for American Military Engineers, he conference featured GSA representatives such as Michael Gelber, deputy commissioner of GSA’s Public Buildings Service, Les Shepard, FAIA, Chief Architect and David Insinga, Acting Assistant Commissioner of the Office of Design and Construction. The conference also featured executive forum sessions, design-build training and lots of networking.
The 2015 symposium is scheduled for Aug. 18-20, 2015, once again at the Omni Shoreham in the nation’s capital.
