The University of California, Irvine — Mesa Court Student Housing Expansion is a 250,000-square-foot expansion project providing a state-of-the art, dynamic community hub for students, faculty and the entire community, relegating the very idea of dorm living to the dusty pages of old college yearbooks.
Chair’s Award
This year, DBIA also recognized two projects for their extraordinary contributions to their communities. The new Chair’s Award for Community Impact and Social Responsibility recognizes design-build teams which have shown extraordinary commitment to triple bottom line success — economic, environmental and social — which have clearly improved the communities they’ve engaged.
