New Natural Resources Headquarters (NNRH)
The New Natural Resources Headquarters (NNRH) is a 22-story high-rise office tower that is home to the Natural Resources Agency, which includes several state departments. This project stood out for its spectacular delivery of Design-Build Done Right in every possible way. From superior process and teaming delivered by a team that included 17 certified DBIA Design-Build Professionals™ to beautiful design that incorporated natural elements, renewable materials and impressive sustainability. Diversity goals were not just met, but exceeded with over 27% small business, nearly 8% disabled veteran business enterprises and 24% of apprentice hours. This project provided a tremendous amount of value and checked all the boxes on successful design-build project delivery. The LEED Platinum Certified tower will meet Net Zero Energy standards and use at least 50% less water than a comparable office building.
